My rarest piece yet...vintage red coral discs, hand-formed African glass, dumortierite, onyx, Indian brass bells, and a very rare hand-carved bone bead that once adorned a monk's belt in a New Mexican monastery. The bead was traded by a Taos, NM collector for a piece of my mother's hand-cast jewelry in the '70s, and I only have four of them. The vintage red coral comes from a gem shop in Santa Fe and the pieces are large, irregular and gorgeous. The recycled African glass in various shades of coral is beautiful to the eye and touch and comes in many shades and unique shapes. The composition was inspired by the cover of this vintage Grosset & Dunlap edition of J. Fenimore-Cooper's The Deerslayer. This piece cannot be duplicated. Very special and unique.
